Boat Consignments
It can be either the saddest or happiest moment of your life. When it is finally time to sell your boat, many people do not want to deal with the hassles of the selling process. If you do not have the time to show your boat, give an "on the water" demonstration, provide a compression check on the engine, then let Triton Marine assist. By consigning your boat with Triton Marine your only job will be agreeing to a selling price!
The process is easy.
- Send us an email describing your vessel to or fill out the consignment form.
- Send any photos of your boat to (include your name)
- A Triton Marine representative will contact you about any details.
- If you choose to move forward, we need only arrange pickup / dropoff and signing of the consignment contract.
Costs
To make sure there are no surprises for either party, we have a one-time systems check and boat inspection fee.
$250 - $350 depending on boat engine and power.
Once the boat is sold and delivered, a consignment charge of 10% of the accepted sale price is collected.
If a boat is sold for less than $20,000 USD a minimum charge of $2,000 USD is due.
